Bolinao, Pangasinan

We visited Bolinao 2 years ago.  This is obviously not updated but I will still share with you what we did during the trip.

From Manila, we rode a bus going to Alaminos.  Then from Alaminos going to Bolinao.

Aside from the beach, there’s a lot of side trip to do here as well.  We visited Cape Bolinao which was built by the Americans in 1903.

Also, we visited the Enchanted Cave.  I remembered this was what I enjoyed most during the entire trip.  Mainly because of the laid-back atmosphere of this place.  Aside from the cave, There’a pool you can enjoy if you can’t take the coldness of the water in the cave.

I can’t remember if there’s cottages but there’s a hammock everywhere where you can chill and relax after swimming.

Also, there’s Bolinao Falls 1 and 2.  It tends to be crowded here.

Now, the main reason I came here is to experience the beach.  There’s not much of a crowd when we came here because it was a Monday.  During weekends, there’s a lot of people since this beach is for free.

Patar Beach, I could say has this white-ish sand.  I could not believe my eyes that it was still pretty neat as this does not have maintenance since there’s no entrance fee.

For souvenirs, I opted to buy a personalized t-shirt for my niece and nephew with their name on it.

Overall, I enjoyed our trip here in Bolinao.  With our 3 days here, I could say that there’s a lot of places to visit and enjoy. Very near Manila, Free Beach, Mangoes, Danggit. Great stuff!
